LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - It's a clear and sunny day in the Lowcountry, says Live 5 Meteorologist Chad Watson, but cooler weather is on the way

It's a sunny start to Thursday and that all we will see today...blue sky! Light northwest winds will keep it very pleasant to be out and about as the daytime high reaches 80-82° for most backyards. Clear and cool this evening as temps fall into the mid 50s overnight!

LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - Live 5 Meteorologist Chad Watson says today looks to be a mixed bag with some sun and a little rain.

It's a mix of sun and clouds for Tuesday as temps are on the way again to above average this afternoon. The 70s will quickly give way to the lower 80s past the lunch hour. A partly sunny sky late today may become dotted with a few isolated thundershowers mainly away from the coast line. Chance of rain today is less than 30% though. Southeast winds stay mild at around 5-10 mph.

LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - It's another hot and sunny day in the Lowcountry, says Live 5 Meteorologist Chad Watson:

Sunny and hot on a Thursday afternoon is what forecast says for today! A few more clouds may return along the coast as morning fog burns off and temps climb up through the upper 70s into the lower 80s. By mid-day we are well on our way to near 90° across many of the backyards of the Lowcountry. At the beaches it will be slightly milder but still very warm. There is again no chance of rain today but shower chances to get a bit better into the weekend. Stay cool!!!

Weekend weather continues

Weekend weather continues

LOWCOUNTRY (WCSC) - The fantastic weekend weather continues into the work week, says Live 5 Meteorologist Brad Miller:

After a fantastic weekend across the Lowcountry, not much change as we head into the work week.  Skies will remain clear overnight with lows in the low to mid 60s.  A weak front will sag across the area on Monday.  This will bring with it a few more clouds and a "somewhat" cooler air mass.  Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.  The rest of the week looks dry and warm with highs in the 80s and overnight lows in the 60s.
